The Lake Oasis is a green area of 1,200 square meters that includes: an artificial lake, a picnic area, an outdoor playground of 740 square meters – featuring a large conservation ark – a semicircular amphitheater with tiered seating, and two multipurpose structures: the Penguin Theater and the so-called ‘Priest’s Hat’. The latter is a unique semicircular structure resembling the brim of a hat, designed by architect Raffaele De Vico.

The conservation ark is a large barge containing slides, platforms, swings, poles, and ropes. It was created using the structures of the old lynx cages. The ‘Penguin Theater’ is a 180 square meter space repurposed from the former penguin enclosure, used for educational and recreational activities, small theatrical performances, and temporary exhibitions.
