Ecophysiological and evolutionary study of the effects of global warming on different species of amphibians
Research by the Roma Tre University in collaboration with the Rome Bioparco
In order to understand the effects of global warming on some species of amphibians, the research evaluates the analysis of the thermal vulnerability and growth rates of Bombina pachypus, the yellow-bellied toad, endemic to our peninsula, at different acclimatization temperatures, to compare it with the thermal vulnerability of some species of Italian amphibians such as Bufo, Bufo viridis, Hyla intermedia, Rana italica and Pelophylax bergeri.
